Community College Facility Coalition Legislative Update — August 8, 2001 — 1 PageCCFC Phone 916.446.3042 — Website www.caccfc.org WORKSHOP OPPORTUNITIES — The Coalition for Adequate School Housing (C.A.S.H.) and the Association of California Construction Managers (ACCM) have pooled their resources to offer two workshops in August that may provide a beneficial opportunity for CCFC members.The first workshop is "Tackling the California Environmental Quality Act for New and Expanded Facilities" and will be conducted twice — First, in Sacramento on the morning of August 21, 2001 and second, in Ontario on the morning of August 24, 2001. The second workshop is "Managing the Consultant Selection Process as if They Work for You …Because They Do" and will also be conducted twice — First, in Sacramento in the afternoon of August 21, 2001 and second, in Ontario on the afternoon of August 24, 2001. Attached are 4 additional pages, 2 of which explain the content of each workshop, and 2 of which provide an application to attend. Although, these workshops are aimed at the K-12 sector, virtually all of the Information will be applicable to community college facility issues. You are cordially invited to attend either or both of the workshops in either venue. Registration can be done either with the attached documents, or online at www.cashnet.org. Because of the late notice, you will not be charged the late fee for registration. You must be a member of CCFC to receive the member discount.
