$8 million in Energy Efficiency Incentives and Millions more in ongoing operational savings waiting to be claimed in 2012

Representatives from the CCC/IOU Energy Efficiency Partnership will soon be contacting your district to review all projects scheduled for completion in 2012. It is vitally important that we uphold our Partnership commitments with the Investor Owned Utilities and the Public Utilities Commission for on-time project completion to ensure that we will have the continued technical and financial support from the Partnership to help our system be more fiscally and environmentally sustainable.

A list of all projects currently scheduled for 2012 completion is available in the link below. Please work with your local Partnership representative when they contact you as they may be able to provide assistance or ideas on how to bring projects in on time. Those projects shown in RED in the 2012 spreadsheet are especially important due to the sizable amount of energy savings they represent. AND, if your district is not listed on either spreadsheets with projects, please contact me to find out how we can work together to change that.

In addition, we have had several projects slip from 2012 into 2013 for completion. There are also several projects that are currently scheduled for January and February 2013. I have attached a second project list illustrating these projects. If possible, please see if you can move up the early 2013 projects into 2012. With roughly seven months remaining in the 2010-2012 program cycle, we have reached only 50% of our energy savings goals for the Partnership, and over $8 million in incentives are still on the table. Anything we can do at this point to improve our achieved savings and take advantage of this funding this year will be critically important for the long term viability of the Partnership and to the CCC system fiscal sustainability.

The CCC/IOU Partnership has been an extremely valuable collaboration for the Community College system, and we want it to continue for many years to come. We need to do our best to achieve our goals to assure future program funding. Thanks for your cooperation and assistance in making this program a success!
