| About CCFC Our Mission Provide leadership in legislative advocacy to secure and protect funding and deliver critical information, education, and training on facilities issues for community college districts and their business partners to enhance student learning. Our Vision Be the voice of knowledge and a resource for California’s community college facilities professionals.
What we do Welcome to the Community College Facility Coalition! We are a statewide association composed of community college districts and organizations that support their facility needs and construction projects, including facility planners, architects, contractors, developers, construction managers, financial institutions, attorneys, consultants, and more. Legislative Advocacy CCFC advocates before the State Legislature and Administration on community college facilities issues. We actively work to support state school bonds for community colleges, expand other funding opportunities, and engage on legislative, budget, and regulatory issues that affect community college facilities. We maintain strong relationships with members and staff of the California State Legislature, the Administration, and our agency partners at California Community Colleges Chancellor’s Office, the Division of the State Architect, and more. We work in partnership with other organizations and associations with like-minded interests. CCFC ensures that community colleges and their partners have a seat at the table for important policy discussions. Education and Outreach CCFC provides education, resources, and networking opportunities to help meet your facility needs. Our members are the first to receive updates and critical information about opportunities for community college facilities. We host events that bring together our members and policymakers. CCFC’s most important event is the Annual Conference, which takes place each fall. The Annual Conference features over twenty education breakout sessions, general sessions, a trade show, and networking opportunities. We periodically host other events, such as regional workshops and “Meet and Greet” events showcasing community college district capital outlay projects in local communities across the State. We are Stronger Together! The California Community College system is the largest system of higher education in the country, doing great work to serve almost 2 million Californians annually. CCFC is proud to support these efforts. Representing over two-thirds of the
state’s community college districts, CCFC is well-positioned at the State level.  Your participation is critical to our success and helps amplify our voice!  |
